When you are shopping for fancy dress outfits you will soon realise that there is a huge selection available to you. Bee Gees, Olivia Newton John, John Travolta and Beetles on their “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” era are some of the icons I remember every time I think of the 70s. Not to mention flower power and the Woodstock of 1969. It was in that period where great music, fashion and society were reshaped. How I wish I coud turn back the time and I would never mind living in such a wonderful decade all over again.
One year ago, I had to go to a 70’s disco party for adults, and for me to finish up the look, all I had to do was ask our neighbor’s daughter if she could lend me her bell bottoms. The past few years, with the low-rise jeans, ruffle blouses , platform shoes and wide belts, it’s been like going back to the 70s era–some of those outfits must be found into the vintage shops these days.
